Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter (cold)
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup cooked turkey bacon (chopped)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt. Cut in cold butter until it resembles coarse crumbs. Gradually add milk until a dough forms.
  3. Roll out the dough on a floured surface to about 1/2 inch thick and cut into squares or circles.
  4. In another bowl, whisk eggs with salt and pepper, then scramble in a skillet over medium heat until fully cooked. Mix in chopped turkey bacon and cheddar cheese.
  5. Place a tablespoon of filling in the center of each dough piece, fold over edges to seal tightly, and pinch to secure.
  6. Arrange on the baking sheet and bake for about 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
