  • 3 1/2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 large egg (at room temperature)
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar (packed)
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 6-mold donut pan with non-stick spray.
  2. In a small bowl, combine granulated sugar, flour, and cinnamon for the crumb topping. Add cold butter and mix until crumbly. Freeze while preparing the batter.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. In another bowl, mix sour cream, light brown sugar, egg, and melted butter. Fold wet ingredients into dry until just combined.
  4. Fill each donut mold with batter and top with crumb mixture.
  5. Bake for 10-11 minutes or until donuts spring back when touched. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
