  • lbs sirloin tips
  • 3 tbsp flour
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 small yellow onion
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • Cornstarch (for thickening)
  • 1 tsp brown sugar
  • ½ tsp each: salt, garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder, paprika
  • ¼ tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Season cubed sirloin tips with salt and spices; coat with flour.
  2. In a heavy skillet, heat olive oil and brown the beef in batches.
